Drone delivery and air taxi use are expanding rapidly, especially in China, which is home to the world’s largest civilian drone manufacturing sector and a vast domestic user base. Yet ecological safeguards for the airspace shared between drones and flying wildlife remain scarce, which creates a policy gap with global conservation implications.
